DVD Profiler import utility - need databases for testing

Postby jovial_mood on Sat Aug 20, 2005 7:50 am

I'm writing a utility for importing DVD Profiler information into Xlobby. Though I'm not a programmer and it's not a plugin I'm planning on making the utility publicly available for download for others like me interested in importing more data than Xlobby does as default. I need to test it using other databases than my own though.

I'm interested in both DVD Profiler collection.xml and Xlobby movies.xml.
My adress is 'engstrom(at)bahnhof(dot)se'

Here are some screenshots of the actual utility.

http://user.bahnhof.se/~engstrom/dxc_screenshots.htm

Nothing fancy, but I believe it does it's trick. At least from my point of view. :)

Thanks

Thanks!

But it looks like he doesn't allow email from unknown people!

lar282,

Thanks for the files.

mzemina,

The reason for typing the address in such stupid way is that I don't like web bots collecting it for spam purposes.

The e-mail address is 'engstrom(at)bahnhof(dot)se'

Replace (at) with @ and (dot) with .

Thanks - but for some reason the mailer deamon was not able to deliver the message. The reason was previously posted. I just changed the '@' and '.' to <at> and <dot> to keep electronic email sniffers at bay.

mzemina,
That's very odd, I haven't had any previous problems with recieving email from unknown addresses. I notice though that there's a missing 'e' in the beginning of the address in your error message. It should read <engstrom<at>bahnhof<dot>se>, not <ngstrom<at>bahnhof<dot>se>.

Anyway, you can also use the address 'akr681x(at)tninet(dot)se'. It's another ISP so if Bahnhof for some reason has blocket IP's in your range it's not very likely Tninet has. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Dropping the first 'e' in your email address must have been the problem! I sent it again.

I get an error message when I execute dxc.exe. Did I miss something?

You need .net version 2 for this to work.
