That would be great also for me (my receiver will not output the digital input to say a TAPE out which is what I use for my wireless headphones connection (so as not to disturb wife), so I have to have both SPDIF and analog.

This would be VERY appreciated. I have been suffering with this issue for a while now. Any update on this? Still possible or not?
