Xlobby Widget Section

There will be a new section added to the Xlobby forum Called Xlobby Widgets. More details will be posted here from me and Steven, for now goto the link below. We would like some feedback on this. If you do not understand the concept, please post here and Steven or myself will answer questions.

When we have the details of the Widget modules, It would be great to see what you can come up with. As soon as we know what the basic graphic parameters are we will let everyone know.

I'm hoping there will be Calrad specific ones, but that the information needed to build our own widgets for other products will be provided.

The Xlobby widgets will be for Calrad products and other manufactures as well, others widgets will be open source so you can tweak them. Let's say you want a simple control Widget to do a certain task using a particular manufactures product you could simply select a Xlobby widget that's designed to do this alone or the widget could have a drop down list of maufactures it supports. I will post some more illustrations on the forum as well as the Calrad website which will help people understand the power and flexability of them.

The new version of Windows Vista has a similar set of add-on's called gadgets available using a sidebar.

I hope this means we will see a plugin for xm similar to the other commercial offerings. I would love to see something similar to Cinemars xm plugin for xlobby.
