How can I import mp3s using only the id3-tag, not the folder

Postby jsthesilverman on Mon Jul 03, 2006 12:11 pm

Hi,
I am trying to import my mp3s only by using the id3-tags. (checked "ignore folders"). It works well for regular albums, but nor for albums with various artists. I will get one album for each artist containing only one song. What do I do wrong? The only way I get one album, is when I rearrange the filestructure to:

D:\Music\Album\artist - title.mp3

and I do not really want to do that for various reasons (same filenames etc.) Does anyone have a solution for that?

Seems to me you don't need "ignore folders" but "ignore tags" (if it existed) :-)
