Silent Install - question for Steve!

Postby spudgun on Mon Sep 11, 2006 8:35 am

Hi,

I've been using Xlobby for a long time now and think its fantastic - more so because it's free!!!

I've finally got round t obuilding a HTPC - mainly for music.

I like the idea of an installer for Xlobby, and am wondering if there are any silent install switches.
The reason for this is that I have used a program called nlite to cut down WindowsXP and to intergrate drivers, programs & .net v2 as silent installs when installing XP. I would be great to have a XP install disc with intergrated Xlobby!

Thanks

no silent install switches, unless the nullsoft has a hidden switch to install everything. You would have to look up nsis installed silent switches or something, I can always add it if you find something.

Steve, thanks for the reply.

Instead of using silent install for Xlobby, I think I will install my reduced size XPHome (using nlite) then install & setup Xlobby as normal & then take a hard drive image so I can install a complete XP/Xlobby OS with ease!

Many thanks for your continuing hard work on such a professional software.
