questin about language converter file

hi,

i am playing arround with a german language file for the metal skin.
Two questions:

1. ist there a possibility to convert an exact sentence to a german
sentence ???
for example:
THE FILM YOU HAVE SELECTED IS NOT ONLINE=DER FILM DEN SIE
GEWAEHLT HABEN IST NICHT ONLINE

I tried it like that but xlobby doesn't care ...

2. is there a possiblilty to let xlobby only translate exact words ???
for example: all=alle but tall=groß
xlobby always translates if you set all=alle then you get tall=talle

If there is a possibilty to give exact words and sentences i hope to solve
wrong translations. I think at samples like with searchengines or similar ...

try to use :
all%alle
tall%groß

instead of
all=alle
tall=groß

it seems, with % instead of = doesn't work.

In my language file i changed all words from "=" to
"%" but with this nothing is translated ???

what is the version of xlobby that you use ? prerelease ?

if yes, you should try with a recent version http://www.xlobby.com/xlobby2screentest.zip

the french language file for heavymetal series seem to work.... http://france.xlobby.com/skins/download ... etalFr.rar

it was the prerelease, but also with the xlobby2screentest which
you posted my german language file doesn't work with % ???

But you are right with the french file, it works ...

Can there be a problem with the setup of a textfile ?

i tried to figure out of there are settings, but i didn't find something.

Try to change your language.txt ,save as, kod UTF-8

this:

works for me....

are you sure that you selected the right file in the setup section skin ?

look at the structure of the french file ...

really strange:

i looked at the structure in the french file and it is the same.

I tried something and it seems to work, i have taken the
french file and translated all french words in german and
also insert some new words. And now the file works for the
most parts. :roll:

The only part i don't get translated ist the weather part. Here
nothing is translated, even if i have nearly all words in my list ...
I use xoapweather 1.2 and it worked before with =

try to combinate both "=" et "%"
you can use also "weather" plugin. with this plugin you can translate everything... here is it : http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1643

nope, it's not the same as xweather...
and yes the link doesn't work....
I will try to upload the plugin if I will find it ;)

Did i understand you right, this weather plugin can be configurated
for any location. Even fetching weather informations from a german
weather page ???

there was one in the original zip. but I don't have it and the link from the author doesn't work anymore ( and the plugin was already configurer for dutch language.....)
