I can't get internet radio to work.

I am using heavy metal and when i pick a net radio station it just says connecting the whole time. But if i exit or minimize xlobby and go into winamp and click the same station it loads up and connects. Am I missing something?

Did you specify the path to winamp in XL?
and/or
can you play albums from your drive?

i can play my albums through winamp, it plays those fine. I'm assuming the path is set since it opens winamp when i start up xlobby. But i could be wrong, do i just go under setup (F2) and check that the patch is pointing to the winamp exe file?

yeah it;s setup correctly, it's running on wireless. Do you think it has to do with badabings skin or is it something else?

Well, I don't know which IP radio setup you have. Might there be a database of stations that you're not pointing at?

hmmmm could be, where and how to I add or remove stations? is there a wiki on this or a thread already going on adding and removing stations?

Are you talking connecting to shoutcast stations via winamp, or some other IP radio stations. If using shoutcast, are you using Defrag's shoutcast plugin or are you generating the shoutcast database by some other means? Have you tried to connect to that particular radio station outside of xlobby?

just using whatever stations were preprogrammed into the heavymetal skin. Where can i get defrags plugin and are there install instructions?

put it under the pluins folder, but it won't show up in f2. put the xoapweather pluin just to check that i was doing it right and it's showing up.
