Almost done. I am now working on pulling the artwork down. It is a multi-step process with TMDb.org. Hopefully will have something done in the next couple of days.

Well you can find my first draft at http://sites.google.com/site/lpgshtpc/Home/program-to-get-fanart-for-xlobby. It is still rough around the edges and doesn't multitask enough, but it does download the fanart and put it in the movie directory under a Fanart folder. The time it takes remindes me of the update time for my apple iphone. So you should get it going and take a nap when you are downloading the images.

I put togeather a little tutorial that is at the link above. The program download is at the end of the tutorial.

Thanks Wes and Andy,

After the dust settles I am sure there will be somemore suggestions to make it more useful. I also have access to all kinds of info and can create other databases or modify the Xlobby file.

Something to watch for. When I was testing my server caught a virus in one of the Jpegs. When this happened the download seemed to hang. First off I did not know that jpegs could have viruses. Secondly I need to look to see if there is an error I am not tracking.

Based on the speed of this especially for large collections, I think the initial load needs to be run as a standalone. Maybe a plugin would be good for other info, updates, and management.

I am really looking forward to seeing how you guys implement this.
