This is still on our radar. There is many issues in getting this done. I will explain the complex details of them all soon.
One major issue is that most companies are using the Cyberlink Bluray HD playback software and movie industry executives have pushed them and others to prevent the new releases of any software from playing content on the hard drive and to only playback content from a Bluray certified optical drive.
The list goes on. For DIY individuals and PC tinkerers this is still possible with piecing together multiple software elements to achieve ripping and playback but is not really convienent or simple for the end user to operate in a fluid GUI or to use on a long term basis without confronting ongoing technical and legal issues.
More xLobby details on this subject to be announced soon.
