V3 Media Player -Playback Size

Make sure you are using the default (96 DPI) font settings. If you are using large or extra large fonts I'll bet that is the problem - it fixed my issues when I changed back to the standard font size.

96 dpi font indeed is the trick to making the media player playback size to be proper.

The font size can be found in Vista by right clicking the desktop and selecting "Personalize". "Adjust Font Size" should be a chopice in the upper left portion of the window that is now open.

OMG that was it.
Was set at 120.
Looked at personalized any number of times and never thought about font size!
Bill, font size was staring at me but didn't notice it - forgot about it - but obviously changed it sometime time back.

It has been months since vid size was right and it never had been in V3 on this machine. So must have changed it in V2 and never played a vid in that ver afterward.

BTW, I can see why I reset the font size. Back at 96 dpi, non-XL app fonts are tiny on this screen.
