how to set filter automagically

I have setup a category and I want it to display genre when the screen opens and not anything else.

I can assign the set filter genre event to a button and it works fine but I
would like it show when the screen is open with out having to click a button...

Oneman,this isnt too hard.

create a new button event that opens the screen; modify the goto page event for by adding the command set filter from commands>xlobby. Here youll specify the category (ie. music, movies, whatever database..) and the filter (year, genre, artist etc.)

Then copy and paste the filterdetails box from the search overlay page to your new page. when you click to go to this page the list of genres will be displayed only.

Thanks, that did it... I tried that before and xlobby would close every time
I clicked my button... I guess I had something screwed up, shocking!
