Good, I'm glad you have it working too. I was a bit surprised when I first found it as I hadn't expected such a change and did try it out 3 or 4 times to make sure but I didn't look into what they had done with the config settings in winamp to make it work.
It wouldnt surprise me if there was a bit of drift between channels spread over two physically separate cards (even if the settings in kx are identical). The PC architecture isn't really designed to do that sort of thing well. I've got two Audigy 2 ZS (I think) 5.1 cards giving 3 zones each. I don't have a syncing prob as I usually have the synced zones running off one card (i.e. one card is dedicated to downstairs zones, the other upstairs. Maybe rearranging the zones you want to sync onto one card might solve?
