5.1 Channel support in winamp.

This is a stupid and probably unrelated xlobby question. I am using xlobby as a touchscreen jukebox for my basement. I am using baddabings heavymetalx skin which utilizes winamp. I bought a creative soundcard Live! 5.1 and logitech x-530 speakers to use with it. Unbeknownst to me that mp3's play in 2 channel stereo and having 5 speakers doesn't mean it's going to play out of all 5 speakers. Does anyone have any clue how I can get them to play out of all 5 speakers in winamp for the jukebox feature. I read that foobar might have support for this but heavymetalx doesn;t support foobar, i think?

Im not no 100% certain since i have only used winamp in conjunction with Xlobby... but i would say that it doesnt matter for skin at all which one of two embedded audioplayers are used. I think Steven abstract specific players to audioplayer interface which skins are using. So i think u can try with Foobar simply changing the audiplayer in xlobby.xml, or from setup (F2).

You need to configure Winamp, Windows and your soundcard to output 5.1 for stereo sources - see here:
