Reason being, I bought a cheap IBM Home Director serial interface on eBay (like an idiot I didn't verify the version) and it turns out to be a much older model (Model #75H8381, supposedly akin to the CM10A). The software it came with is very old, and only seems to want to work correctly on my wife's laptop (running Windows XP Home). When I run it on the HTPC (running XP Pro) I can not communication with the device.
Anyway, long story short I was hoping the command line program included with Active Home might solve my problem. The X-10 Plugin for Xap claims to work with a CM10A but it only searches for the CM11/12.
