Menu Navigation

I seem to be having trouble using my keyboard arrows to navigate through the menu items. I use the keyboard instead of the mouse. When I use the down arrow, I can select menu items in a row, but when I go up the menu items, it skips every other one. Also, if I add a menu item, moving around with the arrow keys will skip it. Is there a way to set the select order of menu items?

Nice link rika, is the menu a database or only buttons?

Thanks for the help. As it turns out, the menu item I added was not selected as a nav item. Once I checked that box, the keyboard arrows worked just fine!
