This is the start screen, you can have a different background of your choice. These are examples of the different look you can achieve.

The slider animates when you press it (slides across unlocking the screen)
Decided to animate some more, going to try to have the upper and lower parts slide out of screen, the background to go black and then the apps icons on main menu to slide into place just like on an actual iphone.

I like it. So how is the slide to unlock invoked?

Thanks, just a case of pressing the slider button which triggers the animation. When it finishes animating it triggers the menu screen to open. On touch screen swiping your finger sets it off.
