Trying to understand Cover Art and DVDProfiler and XLobby

I am trying to understand how or why XLobby brings in cover art for movies.
In this setup I have a media server and in that I have a Movies Directory and in that folders for the individual movine, and in their in some cases I have cover art for the movies that I dounloaded using Gotcha Covered.
I then decided to try and use DVD Profiler to bring in the information about the movies and followed the directions in the help section here, creating an export and then bringing that into XLobby. I am using a modified Jowaldo skin is that has any bearing on it.
The results I get on coverart seem mixed.
Even though when I loaded all the DVD information including cover art into DVDProfiler, What I display is a mixture between the cover art I had originally put on the media server and that which is in DVD Profiler.
It seems that XLobby will use the cover art from DVDProfiler ONLY when it doesn't see cover art in movie folder on the media server.
My goal is to get XLobby to ONLY see the cover art from DVD Profiler and ignor any cover art that is on the media server.
I guess I really don't understand how this works. I realize I could easily delete the cover art in the folders on the media server, but I'm not read to do that just yet.
