Coverting TV RIps to DVD Format and Automated Burn

Hi,

I was Wondering if there is a way that with the press of a button, that a TV Episode can be converted to DVD Files, Vob ifo etc.., and it also automatically burns these files to a DVD Disc, but to also allow from DVD to DVD Copy process.

For example.
someone gives you a wedding video.
you pop the disc in, hit direct copy and then the computer reads the image to Hard Disk then prompts you to insert blank then burns the image to DVD?

my HTPC's all have DVDRW Drives, but none of them have Keyboard or Mice because they are used by the rest of the family.

As far as I know there isn't a way at the moment... but I'm sure someone could make a plugin one day that could do this... It could be tricky though, because it would most likely involve using a few different programs to do this.

there is a command based program called dvdauthor, the manual is all over the place and doesnt quite explain everything clearly.

I am working on this but I thought that someone might have already done it

Yeah if its command based it shouldn't be too hard to do at all..
