xLobby V3 Display 0,1 Etc.

Cooldog, here's what I have.
Vista, latest XL build of 1/23. This is a client on my everyday work PC.
Display 0 is a touch screen and has XL at 800x600.
Display 1 is my primary screen at 1680x1050.
I can tell XL to live on either screen.
ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series.

Now, trying to run the media player on the 2nd montior (display 1).
Tick media player in setup to go to 2nd monitor. XL goes black until I touch it in the tray of display 1.
Restart XL and run a video. No video anywhere and the media player's controls don't function. Audio works but cannot be shut off until XL is closed.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say it's a "client", but your experience pretty closely matches mine. I am running only one copy of Xlobby, so I guess it would be considered the server.

I was on XP before, and now on Win7 x64.

Nvidia instead of ATI.

I can run XLobby on either the 1920x1080 DLP, or the 1024x768 touchscreen, but if it runs on the touchscreen, I cannot get the built-in media player to play on the DLP. The audio plays, but the video is nowhere to be seen.

Almost a year ago, shortly after the multi-monitor support was added back into XLobby V3, I spent some time on the phone with Wes trying to troubleshoot this, but we got nowhere, and both of us sort of concluded that the code was too new to bother beating on it anymore.

I'd hoped that it would simply be working by now, but I guess that we will have to beat on it some ...

Well, the 'client' part isn't important. Looks like we see the same issh anyway.

Hi, if you are using DXVA then video can only be displayed on monitor 1.

This might explain why you get audio only.
