help question on two issues

I need help or some direction on how to:


1. I edited the filter page from the default skin not the overlay but the one called "musicfilters" the filter part works it finds the criteria I give it however when a album, artist, genre or year is the serach type it does not select or do anything it finds the search but thats it the only time i am succesfull is when I search by track then I can add or play

if I selelct dookie it does nothing. how and where do i tell the category
to open "album name" and then show me tracks same thing for genre year or album?

2. I have a main server with multizone set up. I have a HTPC connecting to the server with a haupage 350 and sage

from one skin how can i target two different servers so the music pages go to the server and the movie and PVR pages goes to the HTPC?

in other words I am separating the hardware aspects of audio and video one machine for each

when you click your "music" category when editing the music page you will see everycategory has an "infoscreen" option....yours probably isn't set...the default one is "overlay:musicviewer" which opens the musicviewer page as an overlay when you click dookie for example. I think thats what you want. Set your infoscreen to have it open a new page once clicked.

I did not realize the info screen part. however it does nothing I see now how the selection proccess would work but I cannot make it happen I tried putting The "overlay:page_name" entry pointing to details,all music,playlists, and nothinng. am I missing something maybe I need to recreate the actual category I just rearranged the musicfilters page from the default skin maybe that had something to do with it, any ways any advice on how to go about making a musicfilters category from scratch?
