XOAPweather not working....

Setting this up seems pretty straight forward but I am probably missing something simple.....using Steve's Simplicity Skin

1. I took the old Xweather file out of the Plugins folder
2. I went to Plugins in Xlobby and clicked configure on xoapweather
3. I searched for my city and added it
4. picked 5 day weather and US radar map

Then saved it, exited Xlobby, reloaded it and I get this across the top:
plugin>xweather>current>current>%name%

Then in each box I get this:
plugin>xweather>current>1>%detailedoutlook% /n/n% detailednightoutlook%

and that continues down each space with the numbers changing to 2,3 etc....

I am sure I am missing something really simple, but I have searched the forums and can't find the same problem anywhere.....

The problem is that you are no longer using the xweather plugin. You will need to edit your skin and change to the xoapweather information ie

plugin>xoapweather>current>1>%detaileddayoutlook%

You can get a list of variables in the setup for xoapweather under the plugins.

I don't suppose there is a step by step somewhere I can look at. I am beyond new at this and have no idea what I am doing. Trying to learn though.

hit pause/break to bring up the editor.

then select the plugin text on your skin.

Switch to the text tab on the editor, and edit the text there.

when you get it right, the text will dissappear from the skin and the graphic will appear.

Thanks !! I played with it for awhile last night, have most of it working now. Wow, that was a lot to learn there.....pretty easy once you get into it, kind of like HTML, which is easy enough. Just a little foreign looking when you first look at it, another language. I learned a lot about how the skins and the prgram itself works, pretty cool.... will lead me into doing other things with this program, and will hopefully help me do something I want it to do with opening programs in a specific monitor, just need to figure out the command for telling the computer which monitor to open something in. Anyway, one last question, when you use the NOWICON variable in XOAPWEATHER, and use it for each day, does that get you the appropriate icon for each days weather forcast, or just the current icon for that first days forcast (current day). It's hard to tell, because they are all the same icons right now in each day, but also the forecast for the week is mostly cloudy everyday to. If this does not provide a different icon for each days weather forecast, is there a variable that would provide this?
