a seach of the forums has a few hits on 'audrey', but there is no definitive answer that I have found . . .

. . . is a 3Com Audrey compatible w/ the XLobby webserver ?

Looking for the same solution. My Audreys see the server but don't respond to the mapped images.

Great idea and cost effective too! A person could probably pick up an audrey for $100 on ebay these days. Maybe worth putting a sawzall to the wall for if it could work. LOL

I know this is an old thread but someone on the homeseer board was asking if the xlobby webserver will work with the browser on the old 3com audreys. Well I've got an audrey I never put into use, so I figured I break it out and try it. Well it works, if you change the port the server runs on. It appears it needs to be on port 80. When I had it set to the default 8002, none of the image maps worked. But on port 80 it is working. Just wanted to share.

That's great Fletch! I'll dust off my Audrey.
Thanks so much.

How did you handle to 640 x 480 (if I remember correctly) max screen size?

The webserer has a config page, where you can define the screen size. Goto http://webserver_address/setup from the audrey. I used 600x440 to prevent the browser from adding scroll bars while in full screen mode.
