Hard drive DVD play back of ISO files now complex?

Postby D20fan on Mon May 17, 2004 4:14 am

Hi,

Have tried Xlobby since beginning. Was away for a while, saw new version said WOW!

My joy was short lived

In old version : enter Daemon tools location, enter PowerDVD sofware location, pick sub-directories, your good to go.

Just downloaded new version. Entered Daemon tools location, ISO locations, have no clue where to assign Power DVD. I Do not want to use Zoom player, Theatertek, DVD profiler, just PowerDVD!

Now it seems that I have to spend 3 hrs programming what used to be a 30 second job :)

So how do I get it to work?

TIA,

D0fan

P.S. I have chosen PowerDVD after months of trying all other DVD player software. On my system, (your experience might be completely different) it is the most glitch free, and the only one that inputs perfect audio sync in DTS & Dolby EX to my Dennon reciever.

Yeah its not any harder than before really.. you just do it differently.. and yes its under the file types section. Easiest way to get it to work with power dvd is to look at the example for zoomplayer and just edit that to show where powerdvd is and any switches you may need

Hi,

Thanx for the support, but it still does not work. I've subb'ed the command line for Zoom Player with PowerDVD, entered my Daemon info, browse the movies, selected one, hit play, button turns blue than back to green.

When you exit program, Damon tools are not mounted, so evidently it's not even mounting the ISO.

Thanks for your help,

Hi,

Thanks for the sympathy. I use Xlobby to keep the wife happy with the complex setup :)

Will just stick to old version for a while.

Good luck to ya...
