Adding a Global Button

What is the best way to add a button that needs to apear on every menu?IE power to projector or Recever. The button would be in the same place on every menu. I am also using it as a quick jump to any main menu (movies, music, etc). The skin im working on is a strignt foward simple touchscreen interface. Kid, wife, and any vistor friendly. It is controling a lot of equipment and getting rid of about 6 remotes (YES!!!!) also anybody have any idea on a TV guide within Xlobby? Im using HD cable box to display HDTV on my projector (controled in XLobby) and would like to search TV listings offline on the touchscreen.

Open skin editor. Make your button on one page. Give it a button ID. something like Power. check the box for a multiscreen button on default tab. Goto the advanced tab in the skin editor and select every page the button will appear on. Viola!
