Catergory open info screen

Hi!

I'm trying to create an album list, which open an info screen once you click on an album.

My problem is (hopefully) very simple.

I've added the category, selected the music database, and typed the name of the info screen which is supposed to open. The info screen is created, and the names match.

Problem is, when you click an album, xlobby just plays the album - it does not switch to the info screen.

What could be wrong here?

maybe you have an event assigned to your category ? rmove the assignation if you have one...

No, no event assigned to the category.

It works fine using other skins..

did you select the database music for the category details too ? which is the name of the details category ? is it "musicdetails" ?

No, for now i've just selected a totally different screen - netradio, containing another category.. just for testing if it would open the other screen when i clicked an album.

I tried to create another screen called musik_detaljer with a category 'tracklist' using the music database.. No luck.

I think maybe I have trouble understanding which guidelines to follow to make it work.

If it's not to much to ask, could you please describe how it should be done correctly?

I’m at office right now, so I can’t be sure…. but try this:
Example for music category:
In the screen music select the category and write “musicdetails” in infoscreen
Then goto the other screen where you want to display details select or create a category with name “musicdetails”, select the database “Music” also for this category.
