Will the Nokia N800 work?

Has anyone tried the Nokia N800 with Xlobby as a thin client?

The N800 doesn't run Windows Mobile, so the xlobby2sd.exe thin client executable will not run on it. So the short answer is no it will not work as a thin client. However there are people who have used the built-in web server to in xlobby to serve pages to the n770 (older version of the n800.) And still others have also used either VNC or RDP clients on the n770 to access a windows PC running xlobby as either a thin client or fat client. So I guess what I'm saying is maybe.. it really depends on the level of complexity you are willing to put up with.

The only annoyance I had running FreeLobby on my 770 (as a Web client) was the need to manually refresh after each screen tap. I'd imagine the 800 has the same issue. I tried VNC, but had to scroll around the screens.

As a Web client, the 770 does not need to be manually refreshed with the XL commercial ver. So I'm really happy with it :)
