nice i just installed android on my HP tablet, since web OS is going byby anyway.

i've been using just the standard control //ipaddress:port becuase when i use the //ipaddress:port/web
it has issues displaying my menu's correctly.

Can't wait to give it a try.

I bought a vizio tablet and have been controlling my home theater for a few months now. The response is quick through wifi. I would like to tap inot the IR port included with the vizio.

The IR port on the Vizio is not your standard IR emitter type port, they usually have some specific IR receiver that connects to their hardware. What is the model number so I can look at this.

Wes, Thanks for the offer. I am happy with wifi. Now since devices are starting to be controled by IP I do not think I will need IR. My new Sharp TV and my Directv Recievers HR21 and HR22 can all be controled throlled through IP.
