XLTV and MyTheatre

Trying to get Xlobby to control my TV viewing...something I have avoided in the past.

Using MT and Bing's HM touchscreen skin. THanks to Dgemily I have configured the XLTV config so that it has imported the channels. Now when I run XL and go to the TV page, I select a channel or go channel up or down but nothing happens. How exactly does XLTV work within XL ? When/how does XL launch MT ?

xltv uses some keystroke to control MT and the command line interface (MTStart)

Are you able to change channels inside xltvconfig?

in xlobby, is MT started by xltv or not?

In the xltv skin, is the stuff working?

In your skin did you insert the xltv text zone (see documentation)

as badubo said, did you try with xltv skin ?

another thing, you must create a favorite group in xltvconfig even if you want to use one group :


- select the tuner "MT" (1)
- create a group (case 3 then press "create" 4 )
- select your channels in case 2 and pass them in case 6 using the button "-->" (7)
- then press "save" (5)

optional: you can also organise your channel in this group using buttons "up" (9) and down (10)
and you can add a subtitle, description and picture for this group ( and of course, you can create more that one favorite group but you need to have minimun one group)

Ok. thanks for the help guys.

I am using Badabing's Heavy Metal touchscreen skin. Is there a specific XLTV skin?

When I launch XL, it is not launcing MT. When I go to the TV screen in XL, again it is not launching MT. Nothing wihin the skin is working.

When I run XLTV config, I cannot change channels. I can import the channels and I have created the favourites list like Dgemily has stated.

Is there any documentation with making it work with MT ? I hate to ask so many questions.

Ok. Update. I realised there is a test skin in the XLTV download.

When I use this skin everything works fine. Great plugin. I thouhgt that the Heavymetal Touchscreen skin had XLTV biult into it ?
