This is the the problem, I have created the database in xlobby format,attempting to import from drive c and/or drive h. Both are generating this error. I am using .net 2.0, winamp 2.95, xlobby 7/31/06.

Make sure your MP3 tags don't contain illegal characters that don't conform to the XML standard

...or in your file/folder names. Open your Xlobby\Databases\music.xml file with Internet Explorer, scroll to the bottom and you'll see an XML error in red most likely related to a file or folder name. Rename the offending file/folder on disk and update the xml manually in notepad or delete it and reimport. &, ', # and other characters have to be properly escaped in XML.
