Can't get XOAP WX to work Need a little Help

I'm new to Xlobby but have been very sucsessful with the Heavy Metal skin and the skin editor to get Xlobby 99.9% customized for my htpc. The only thing I can't get running is the WX plugin. I've read everything till my eyeballs fell out, I think it might be something with enableing the variables. Could someone give me a little help if you got it to work? How do you enable the variables that are on the list in the config page ?
Or any other things to look at, I always get "No data avalable". It seems to find the locations I select in the config page, and will show up in the forcast XML file, but thats it.

It is a very curious problem you are having. I'd like to check some basics first.

1. How are you connected to the Internet in detail (i.e. dialup, USB cable modem or Ethernet etc.)

2. What location(s) do you have showing in the forecast list?

3. The Heavy Metal skin should already have all the variables working but to be safe, can you cut and paste some of the button text from the fields that are not working, they should start with: plugin>xoapweather>...

4. Does the radar image work?

5. Hit F2 and go into the Event Manager tab, in the "Commands" list, select plugin and then command. Use the Plugin pull down to select "XoapWeather" and the command "dump xml to file" and click the TEST button. You should now have a file called "xoapdump.xml" or similar in the xoapweather plugin directory. See if it contains any weather data.

Thanks for the response.. Here are a few details, I'm at work and will give you the rest when I get home..
1.My internet connection is through an ethernet connection, not fierwalled, connected to a router, I use a DirecWay Sat. connection that does not have a static IP. I have no problems connecting to the net through Xlobby to get my cover art and using the browser in xlobby works fine.
2. The locations I am using is Bangor Me. I'll get the specific code when I get home.. but changing the location in the set-up changes the code in the xml file ok. I've tired Boston Ma. and NYC with the same result.
3. Not to shure what you mean here, "can you cut and paste some of the button text from the fields that are not working, they should start with: plugin>xoapweather>... " where do I find the button text, use the skin editor, the EPG or in the xml file itself ?
4. The radar will not work , get no data avalable..

Go into the skin editor, pick a weather field button and click the display tab and copy and paste the text you see in there.

Here is what I got..
My loacation code in the forcast xml is USME0322

I looked at the button text in the skin editor on the wx page and all the variables seem to be loaded, I cut and pasted them back with the same result, they looked just as you desribed in prev. post.

I tried the dump to xml file as you described, and no "xoapdump.xml" file was created...
I did have the images loaded wrong, I now get '?" to load, but still "no data avalable.
I do notice that when I hit Refresh there is no activity on my ethernet icon.

Any other suggestions....
