I have two instances of winamp (just trying to get two zones to work first) running on the server. I have the first configured with the output - directsound (MAudio REVO) and I have the second configured with the output directsound (Realtek AC97 onboard).
Xlobby can see both zones and when I minimise Xlobby both instances of Winamp are loaded. Xlobby can select each zone and play audio through each zone but nothing happens when I hit the synch all zones button. I can't synch the audio in the two zones ??
Some other questions:
1. Does it matter what skin you use to be able to synch audio ?
2. For eg I am using the HeavyMetal Skin at the moment and in the zone section it has Theater, Living Room, Family Room, Kitchen and Patio buttons above the Synchronize button. What relationship do these buttons have to the zone buttons at the bottom (+ and -) ? t the moment to select my two zones I have to use the + and - buttons. Do you need to rename the zone folders where Winamp is installed to these other skin descriptions (ie: family room, Theater etc) ?
