Disabling Z: Mounting?

Now that theatertek can play .IFOs directly, can I disable the mounting of my movie to Z: ?? It seems to be causing some problems with pMM and someone has suggested playing the files directly.

From what I understand only the new experimental build can do this...is that correct?
