just upload chad's new skin get it in the downloads section same spot

WM_COMMAND is available, you would use this though

sendmessage:<window name>:<class name>:273:<wparam>:<lparam>

where 283 is the decimal notation for WM_COMMAND hex 0x111, I haven't tried it but it should work....I'll give it a try and see if it works.

Any updates to the skin working with the keyboard.

It works with mouse over but not the keyboard.

Has anyone got this to work with keyboard - HOW?

Roscoe,

You can make a CD button anywhere you want. Just create a button as you normally would and add the following string to the xlobby commands tab:

sendmessage:Winamp 5.0:Winamp:273:40323:0

If you are using winamp 2, I think you need to change the Winamp 5.0 to Winamp 2.0 or something, if you have girder you can find the window name from there. I just tested it and it works.

I'm still working on it, I haven't figured out why the screen isn't defaulting to the Watch DVD button correctly, but if you put your mouse over a button the keyboard works. I'll see if I can figure it out.

I'll try messing around with that over the Christmas holiday.

Out of curiousity, from an XLobby perspective, are there any advantages/disadvantages to using Winamp 5 over Winamp 2?

none that I have uncovered thus far aside from the sound seems better to me, but that might be my imagination, I just don't like to have "old" software

Updated version available...

1. Removed the category on the main menu and replaced it with hidden buttons for the same effect, thanks to twit and csander for the idea
should work with remotes now.
2. Added a PlayCD button on the main page
3. Some new buttons
4. Changed some Sage screens on the PPC client
5. Added a View Trailers button on the movieviewer page, this is still a work in progress see the following post:

I think that's all, nothing major except the category thing

Known Issues:
1. Sometimes when coming back to the main menu from let's say the music page the music pic/text will still be there. If you move up the the music button and then on to something else it'll go away. I'm still working on that little problem.

There still seems to be an issue with remotes. I have (I think) the latest version of the skin. It has the playcd button on the main menu, so I believe it's up to date.

It works fine with the keyboard if you mouse over one of the buttons first. If you click the mouse in a non-button area, then keyboard control is gone again.

Great job on the skin though. I'm still new at editing skins, so my attempts to fix have failed.

After a40 was installed (specificly the implementation of the event manager/editor) the skins on the skins page had to be removed since they weren't compatable. Keep an eye out for a new one from chad (word on street says he's got one in the works). In the mean time try some of the other ones on here, jowaldo's, colbys, toni's are all awesome. Give them a try and ask chad reeeaaaal nice like for his heh. Good luck!

I think the links are down right now as steven is changing servers. It's usually on the download page, but it is not working now.

Chad,

Just thought I would see what the status was of your skin...I haven't been able to talk with you in a while so I figured I would post here to see how things are going.

Since you are the only other person with a progear that I know of...have you had any problems with the client locking up on it? I have been playing with the default skin and on the TT page I sometimes lockup the client. Since I don't have a keyboard connected to it I end up turning off the progear and starting over.
