i came across an issue i found by doing some testing.
this is the first time i tried playing a dvd directly, instead of copying it.
the movie video played fine, no issues, but the default audio jumped to another sound card, which for me was the livingroom zone.
then all my xlobby sounds were playing thru the livingroom zone.
After snooping around, i noticed all my windows sounds were now playing thru my livingroom zone.
i found out the default sound device in windows has changed.
i shut down xlobby, went into windows audio and switched the default sound card back to what it is supposed to be, then rebooted.
everything was back to normal.
i have 2 sound cards plus onboard. (audigy, audigy 2, realtek)
my default is audigy 2, but when i played the dvd, it jumped to my audigy card.
anyone else have this issue?
