DVD PROFILER CATEGORIES & itunes id3 tags

steve a number of people including me have asked if xlobby could incorporate all or at least some more of the dvd profiler movie categories and also itunes id3 categories. is this something you can do?

email me your dvdprofiler xml and an mp3 with these itunes tags...not sure if the format is just for apple...I will check.

What extra info from dvdprofiler did you want?

Hey Steven,

To avoid having to re-do this everytime DVDProfiler adds/removes a tag,
why don't you make Xlobby import everthing and leave it to the skin
designer/tweaker to select which tags are used?

Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore!

I agree with erikt. If you can allow Xlobby to access all the ID3V2 tags like it is done for "album", "artist" etc. it would be great !!

All my music (Indian) has lyricist & composers field populated but I cannot access those using Xlobby :oops:

While we are at it, one more request:
The artist field in my mp3 tags has multiple entries (separated by comma). Xlobby is currently regarding these as a single entity when I use a filter. So I cannot really use the artist filter very effectively. Is it possible for Xlobby to use comma a as delimiter and parse this field for individual artist s?

sharp_1 can you email your dvdprofiler xml because I dont see the Location or slotnumber tags, I'm also done redoing the dvdprofiler import code.

Thanks steven. I have tried the new xlobby and it seems to work really well other than the "audio compression" category which seems to show DD Dolby digital even if the audio is for example 2 channel stereo. Should there also be a "false" alternative for this. Also is it possible for the aspect ratio to include eg "anamorphic" or "widescreen" as well as 1.33 2.40 etc

I got the composer portion to work but lyricist does not show anything. I need to look some more.
