Music section wont play anymore on colby skin

Postby jim1234miller on Tue Jul 25, 2006 4:47 pm

I have a very strange problem. I've been using xlobby with a modified colby skin for the past year with out any problems at all. And then the music section developed a very odd problem. When I click on a album cover nothing happens. I can click the playall button and it works, as well as the start, stop, ffw, etc. but nothing happens when I click the album covers. I also just recently upgraded to the new and improved .net 2.0 version of xlobby with the same colby skin and the problem remains. I am assuming that the skin is the problem, because of the carry over between the upgrade of xlobby. My colby skin is so heavily modified that I would really prefer to not start over from scratch, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How rude. Lets not jump to any conclusions. How new is your exe? and I bet the answer is simple.

1. What is the startup event for music?
2. What is the event for the music category?
3. What does the infoscreen of the music category say?
4. How old is your ColbySkin? (pre .net2?)
I suggest downloading Bluezskin and then add modified pages from there.

to be fair, he siad he had moddied the screen, so its just as likely to be his skin cocking up as yours :)

i started out with the mc skin and now, nothing remains of the original skin appart from the graphics :)

I had different problem with my videos section (it played always the same video, no matter which was selected), and I solved it by deleting the category, exiting xlobby, restarting it, and adding the category again....

I still don't know why it happened, but the bottom line is that category somehow got corrupted or whatever.... :-)

My mistake all along I had deleted the overlay screen by accident. I ment no offense towards colby. My favorite screen by far.
