Help setting up Xlobby & Girder to talk to my yamaha RX-

I have been using Xlobby for a couple of monts now but with very little modification.

Great program.

I now have an ViewSonic Airpanel and need to get things set up with my system.

I've done a lot of reading and playing but am a little lost. I will most likly need a little stap by step to get things going.

I was able to get Girder setup this morning. New to this too. I got a port plugin installed along with a older Yamaha set of control comands installed with a Tamaha INI. I have tested the basic commands through Girder and it worked. To my surprise.

Thats all the knolage of Girder I have.

To start, I want to get the volume buttons in XL radio and music screens to use the volume up and down in girder to work.


Any one a guru in this area ????

you can use the same volume buttons, but you will have to assign a custom event to each one. Go into the event manager and make a new event with some girder commands. then assign those to the volume buttons. Maybe someone else can fill in the blanks if you need more help, because you have to target your girder commands....and I cant remember if you just rename or not.
