Since I already am using Slimserver and a Squeezebox for my music source (streaming Apple Lossless), I'm only interested in the DVD, Video, & HDTV video playback capabilities of xLobby.
Could I just edit the skin of choice to make the DVD page the startup page? Or can I just customize the skin so that there's only an option for DVD and Video Files? I don't want a DVR either since I have Tivo.
I'm sorry if these are repetitive questions but I was having trouble finding documentation about customization.
On the matter of control, is there any way that I can control the cursor and transport functions of this system with an IR remote (IE: a Pronto) or over 232 / Ethernet by way of a Crestron? How could I make a serial interface to this application that would give me commands like "Cursor_Up"?
