Please help me get Theatertek 2.1 to work

Help each other out

1. Atlas -- now that I entered the "/pl %playlist%" thing, XLobby now both launches TT and begins playing the movie -- thank you!

2. Baddabing -- your instructions were awesome -- unfortunately, the controls don't work. I then loaded the default skin itself, and those TT controls don't work either. Is this because all the commands somehow changed from TT 1.X to TT 2.X? If so, someone certainly *must* have an updated theatertek.xml file by now I would think (is the TT 2.0 girder .gml file on TT's website the same as the .xml file needed by XLobby?) I'll search, but if you know, or if there's something else you think is wrong with my setup, please let me know!

Thanks again guys,
Brent

Lasse,

Actually, at present I don't use a remote (though I probably will add one). But as for fullscreen, I show DVD's via a front projector, and I have a separate touchscreen for XLobby, so I really could make use of those controls...

I'll try to put together a new theatertek2_0.xml file for Xlobby. I think it is something that is needed. I'll also need it once I go to a PPC or Airpanel! :)

Atlas,

That would be *HUGELY* appreciated (by myself & others as well, I'm certain). I can't figure out why someone hasn't done it already, but I'm glad you're here!

Thanks,
Brent

OK I have the a TheaterTek 2.0 XML event file for Xlobby. What is the best way to share? Paste in here or upload? It is 24kB unzipped, 2kB zipped.

Atlas --

I have no idea, but I'm eager to get my hands on it

That was quick! Does it have every little command available, just the major ones, or what?

OK see if you can get this...

This should be all the commands for TT 2.xx. I built it based on the girder file. In girder keyboard commands were issued for the arrows up/down/left/right and FF/RW cycle. I used girder to capture the wParam and put that into Xlobby. It worked when I tested but let me know if you have problems.

You will still need to change the buttons as BaddaBing mentioned.

Atlas,

I can't thank you enough -- it works great! (I haven't tried most of the commands, but the major ones I assigned to Baddabing's buttons worked perfectly.)

Atlas --

BTW, you should really let Steven know what you did & ask him to include your TT 2.X file in the official XLobby download. It certainly belongs there.
