MPEG, AVI, video problem

I have gotten XL to import all of the files I have that are videos (AVI's and MPEG's) and they are all listed in the database with their info but when I go into XL and click movies nothing is in any of the folders. It just pops up with an empty box that then says play or close at the bottom. I have tried numerous different import techniques and all the files are being found but nothing is in XL. Any ideas?

Hi Svence,

In XL, hit F2 then File Types and see what player enable there, did that player have the right ext. type files, as avi, mpg .. etc.

I use zoomplayer, as a test, quit XL and run zoomplayer with these files, are they are running ok?

I have tried ZP and WMP from XL and neither will work. The files work fine when loaded from outside of XL. It is like they are there but I can't choose them. I don't know why. All of the extentions are in the setup to get imported and I tried assosiated them with ZP and XL and neither will launch because I have no movie to click on.

Sorry, my bad that I did not read it well.

Sound like the screen cat. and the database not linking, hit "pause/break" to go to the skin editor and go to your movie screen, Item | Cat. | database.
