Help--how to integrate internet radio

Folks,

I would like to integrate internet radio...has any one done this. I would love a tutorial and a copy of a skin that has it implemented. What are the current capabilities / gaps in the current Xlobby implentation.

I have multizone set up and would love to be able to stream to zones independently just like launching an album but instead, launching a "radio station".

Also, if you can walk me through how I find these streams on the internet...I am a real newbie here and would appreciate a little baby food!

jmv..... I asked this one awhile ago....check out the 2nd page...I only use winamp for playing radio streams...

Works great with BaddaBings Heavy Metal skin...I use ram files *Real Player with a winamp plug in*... with winamp and mp3 streams...

I read the recommended string, but I am still lost.

Anyone doing this with Foobar2000? If so, can you tell me how to setup Foobar2000/Xlobby to make it work.

Also, where are you getting your internet radio stations from. I am specifically trying to get KGO radio in the Bay area. They have links to a bunch of soundstreams, but so far, only the Mediaplayer version has worked for me (and I don't think that is a seemless integration into Xlobby).

KGO mp3 stream url is as follows

there is radio cover art setup guide....

When you are looking at baddabings database radio guide you will see that when you are in the DB EDITOR to change the coverart....look just above ...you will see a text box labeled *PARAMETER*

in the PARAMETER box ....I will take out the original pirate radio stream url and put in the new KGO mp3 stream url.....http://abcrad.ic.llnwd.net/stre ... ad_kgo_kgo


now I close DB...close Xlobby...restart...when I click on that PIRATE RADIO button....it will play the mp3 stream url for KGO through WINAMP to check that it works....

does this help at all?..I'm new to Xlobby...as far as actually integrating any programs...I know nothing of this..... I've managed to ask around and fumble my way through setting my htpc up here to where I like it...
