Information overload ! How to I list MP3s ?

I could spend a whole day on this board and get no-where

I'm using the PC/WINAMP/kxAudio/Ceiling Speakers method to dist. audio around the house.

I'm going to use PPC's only for the control. And I only want to control music.

But tell me, on the screen to list the albums (the first thing that comes up) - how can I just have a list of text names rather than album icons which really mean nothing to us anyway !

I've tried using the default and Jowaldo's skin (which looks vv nice btw) - but both have great big white blocks where album icons should be. I just dont need that.

The speed of responsiveness is fekking rediculous tho - it's so slow to respond on the PPC - is this because it's a (testbed) iPaq 3370 ?

All we need is browser support !

There is a way to do this easily. Just go to the editor (pause/break) and select the category (thumbnails), go to the category tab in editor window, and play around with the options, you'll find option to display text only w/o images... NO COVER ALL is what it's called.

You can have a look at my skin to see how it's implemented (visual).
