Total Noob

Hi guys, be gentle total Noob

I've been looking for a great database Gui and found you, must say very impressed.
Ive downloaded xlobby and ran it and figured out (using the tutorial) how to load my music/pics etc
Ive downloaded winamp/daemon tools

A few questions (I appologise if its covered elsewhere)
xlobby only supports winamp not WMP10 ?
how do I use my axim x50 ppc ? (I have this computer a laptop and ppc on wifi network)
I've downloaded 2 skins Colby and Xlobby MC and put them in the skins folder, but when i go to the skins tab an use the pull down then restart, all i get is a black screen, what am i doin wrong.

Thats it for now, i'm sure i'll have a few more

In folder client, there is an app called xlobby2sd,exe, you copy that onto the PPC and VOILA! You have instructions in readme file in the same folder. I have Axim x51v and it works fine. All you need is IP adress of PC on which XLobby is running.

Check that the skins are not in sub folders, i.e. they should be in

c:\program files\xlobby\skins\colby skin\
NOT c:\program files\xlobby\skins\colby skin\colby skin\

this sometime happens when you extract ZIP archive.

With having the TFT screen the resolution is to high, its very hard to read whats on screen (colby2)

So how do I alter the skin (Colby2 really nice) remove buttons etc

Are you using the PPC menus or the straight standard menus.

If you are using the same menus on you PC than on your PPC, you are right, it must be VERY hard to read.

Make sure that on your config file you specify PPCMENU instead of MENU.
