Server 2003 and remote desktop

Postby Bill Lott on Wed Oct 04, 2006 1:54 am

I run xLobby under Server 2003 and have 2 touchpads connected using remote desktop. Each has its own unique name and logon information to the server. Each has its own xLobby client installed. Unfortunately, once they both are loaded one mimics the other. If I change screens on one touchpad, the other changes also. However, every once in a while, after I reboot, they operate independently. I'm not sure what I do differently, but I sure would like them to operate independently all the time. Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Thanks..

Unlike Windows XP there is no hack required to run multiple RDP clients under Server 2003 it just needs to be configured for Terminal Services.

Probably just a glitch in your configuration. Check this link for info on debugging it: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Windows_2003_Terminal_Services_Part2.html

Bill, swing by the AVS local theater meet thread... we're planning a get together in a couple weeks.
