Catagory DISPLAY advances 1 item at a time

Got an idea, post it here

Catagory DISPLAY advances 1 item at a time

Postby bfauska on Mon May 01, 2006 7:00 pm

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to explain what it is I am attempting to do. I know that a catagory selection can advance one at a time, http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4325. I want to have the catagory display scroll all at once, one item at a time. If I had a display showing items 1 thru 10 now I could only advance from that display to the next page, 11-20. I want to be able to hit the arrow key to the right and instead of the selection box moving the catagory moves, so now I see item 2-11 if I hit it agian I see 3-12.

Maybe this is the best way to describe it. Instead of catagories displays advancing by the page I would like them to advance by the item.

Also I would like to have an option to display catagories in a closed loop instead of cycling from the begining to the end (with a partially filled last display page.)

Hopefully I explained this well enough to show that it is not too complicated or useless.

Any discussion on this topic is welcome and incouraged.

Please consider this feature.

Thanks,
Brian

I know it would slow the drawing down, but i would prefer this as well.

or at least an option to try it...

I asked for this feature a while ago... so bump again!

An easy way to describe it, is also how windows MCE does it on the main menu.
