X10 control UK equipment

Postby jase73 on Sat Nov 05, 2005 2:53 am

I have been using Xlobby for 3-4 months now and can only say what a smart and flexible program it is . I've even got the wife using it! I'm just getting the hang of the events and buttons part.
I'm very interested in the X10 automation control. What equipment do I need to get started. I've seen alot of stuff for american sockets etc but not for UK.
Any help , information would be very much appreciated

Cheers

Jason,

I buy most of my X10 kit from http://www.letsautomate.com, but I have also used http://www.laser.com and http://www.simplyautomate.com. I you want to get into X10 automation I recomend you take a look at Homeseer

I'd second that group of suppliers, all provide very good service in my experience.

If you are interested in HA, I suggest you joint the Yahoo group UKHA_D. A lot of UK focussed HA activity there. Also look at http://www.automatedhome.co.uk.
