Help each other out

New Zoomplayer

Postby Colby on Sun May 29, 2005 1:23 am

Okay I have a new HTPC and I can not get my Zoomplayer Professional 4.01 to work.

I think I dont have the codecs or setup is wrong.
I am using nvidia drivers and envy 24 audio drivers. I get no pictures nor sound. I can not get my dvd drive to play dvds, or media mode to play *.vob files or *.mov files. I get seperate errors for each.

Any help from Zoomplayer professionals would be great.

I am not using xlobby yet to test, zp stand alone. I get different for different things. 1st off, I cant play a dvd. I insert a dvd and zp opens but then says I need to first config player. I choose the nvidia drivers and the filters in custom tab. They seem to be enabled correctly. then I hit manual save and close. Yet everytime I go to play a dvd it ask me to config zp 1st. And when I continue playing after setting up it says something about error vob something not recognized or setup properly...

When I try and play other media I have no picture or sound. the setup says there is no audio renderer enabled. I selected my envy 24 from the list but no go. Also how can I test if my sound is really 5.1 without using a dvd. are there any DTS audio tracks I can download?

Why go to an older verison. Use the newset 4.50 RC1. works super great for me.

Think u should post a question on the inmatrix forum. those guys KNOW zoomplayer
