Importing music

I am new to Xlobby and have been attempting to import some mp3's from a folder on my HD. They are organized as:

c:\media\my music
c:\media\my music\band - album1
c:\media\my music\band-album2
c:\media\my music\band2-album1

I then imported using the path c:\media\my music. All songs were imported however. I had for example 5 folders and it only properly listed 2 folders or in this example 2 albums by name. The remaining were listed as various artist/various names. I have carefully checked the folder/song names and found no problems with the names.

I am using the colby skin.

Your file structure isn't ideaal. I don't know if you can teach xlobby to combine albums & covers the way they are organised. A better way would be to sort
music \ artist \ album \ songs

But ok, back to your current problem. The various artist problem is caused (AFAIK) by your tags. The names are case sensitive, so:
band 1
Band 1
band1
Band1
Are for different bands. You should check your tags. I use "eags on!" to edit mp3 tags.
