scott, i changed the database tag names to be a bit more logical (and unique) as long as you don't do a "database post refresh" of "database add extra tags", i sould be fine.

if you did either of them it would convert the names to the new format.

xMusic is using the same basic code as this so its not a big deal to get a new version out, i just need an hour one night or next weekend.

I wanted to make a nice photo "flow" type screen but i couldn't get it looking right. So i added the option to merge two images together and add the display text, my new screen looks like -

Currently flow screens only show the cover, i have quite a few episode's in my movie database which are are not very usable, so i added an option to generate a default image which contains the item text.

The generated cache images look like (a folder image)

And a default image i am using on the movie database

Looks awesome. Can the "flow" only be done on the new XL or will it work on the free version. Not really sure how you did that but it's very cool.

You can use the "flow" functions in the later free-lobby releases. Its definitely in the 4 Mar Build, but i don't know when it was added...

To use it, add a text box and set its text to be category>cat name>cover>x>y, where x if the offset from the current position and y is the angle.

On that screen i use category>photo>cover>-1>0.15, category>photo>cover>-2>0.25, category>photo>cover>-3>0.35, category>photo>cover>-4>0.45, category>photo>cover>-5>0.55.





And yep, the kids mine. But he's not that chute ( at least not when its 3am and he is "kicking off"! )

Do you have a zip copy of that March build. My last free version is Feb 26/07. I do have a March build, but it was one of the first pre-releases, and timebombs after about 10min. of use. Sharp doesn't even have that build on his site either.

Though I will have to try this cat stuff on the Feb build. Pretty cool. I wanted to do something like this with my Mirage skin. It would make my individual catelog screen look more like the main menu screen. I just never knew the text field to enter. Thanks for the tip.

Do an f2 and "about" on your current copy. When I downloaded the latest copy I believe it was dated as Feb26 but shows March 4th on the about screen.

Sorry to be a bit thick here but I am just not getting it, I got it to display the cover but now what . Do I setup multiple text boxes??? How do I "rotate" them??

Do you have an example I can look at, I could probably figure it out from there, or if you have time to explain it a little bit more.
