USB VFD

Is there anyone using a usb vfd and can control it with girder or any other program to have the vfd display anything you want like the parallel version. If so what programs can. Is there anyone that usb vfd or do you all have parallel. It seems hard to belive that everyone would like a large parallel cable coming out of the case :( .

I'm not sure I'm answering your question, but I'm using a USB VFD from
Matrix Orbital, along with Girder, Xlobby, Foobar and Zoomplayer.
I have Girder handle all VFD display stuff and Xlobby all control. It's
working pretty well right now.
